Day 1
📍 Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha
Arrival in Arusha — Leisure Evening
Your Tanzania adventure begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative is waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Check-in is from 2:00 PM. The rest of the day is yours to use as you wish — rest after your journey, take a walk through town, or simply sit back and let the anticipation of what lies ahead settle in. Dinner this evening is at the lodge, a gentle introduction to what is about to become an unforgettable few days in the bush.

Day 2
📍 Arusha → Lake Manyara National Park
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park — a compact but remarkably diverse park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive in time for lunch before checking in to your accommodation. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive through the park's varied habitats: dense groundwater forest, open floodplains and the shallow alkaline lake that gives the park its name. Lake Manyara is known for large elephant herds, enormous hippo pods, flamingo flocks along the shoreline, giraffes, and its famous tree-climbing lions — a behaviour rarely seen elsewhere in Africa.

Day 3

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park — one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The drive itself passes through spectacular highland scenery before the land flattens into the iconic open savannah. Arrive in the afternoon, check in to your accommodation, and head out for an afternoon game drive across the vast Serengeti plains. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, wildebeest and countless antelope species call this landscape home. The light in the late afternoon on the Serengeti is like nowhere else on Earth.

Day 4

Serengeti — Full Day Game Drive
A full day in the Serengeti, uninterrupted. After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring different areas of the park with your professional guide — from the central Seronera Valley with its year-round wildlife concentrations, to the riverine forests along the Grumeti and Mara rivers where crocodiles wait in the shallows. A packed picnic lunch is served in the bush. The optional hot air balloon safari, available at an additional cost, takes off at dawn for a breathtaking aerial view of the plains and their wildlife before landing for a bush champagne breakfast.

Day 5
📍 Serengeti → Ngorongoro Region → Arusha
Serengeti to Arusha via Ngorongoro Region
Depart the Serengeti after breakfast and travel back towards Arusha via the scenic Ngorongoro region — the rim of one of the world's largest intact volcanic calderas, with views that stop you mid-sentence. A packed lunch is provided during the drive. Arrive in Arusha in the evening to check in and spend a relaxed night reflecting on the safari before tomorrow's flight to Zanzibar.

Day 6
📍 Arusha → Zanzibar Island
Arusha to Zanzibar Island — Beach Arrival
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar Island. The contrast is immediate — within a couple of hours you move from the dust and drama of the safari to the turquoise shimmer of the Indian Ocean. On arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you're met and transferred to your beachfront accommodation. Enjoy lunch upon arrival, then spend the remainder of the day at leisure on the beach or by the pool. After five days on safari, this is exactly the kind of arrival the body needs.

Day 7
📍 Stone Town, Zanzibar
Stone Town Exploration & Spice Experience
After breakfast, head out to explore Stone Town — Zanzibar's ancient urban heart and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the labyrinth of narrow streets, past ornately carved wooden doors and coral-rag buildings that carry centuries of Swahili, Arab and Portuguese history. Visit key historical landmarks, browse the vibrant local markets and take in the atmosphere of one of East Africa's most evocative old towns. In the afternoon, an optional Spice Tour is available — a guided visit to one of Zanzibar's working spice plantations to discover cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and other spices still grown on the island today.

Day 8
📍 Kizimkazi, Zanzibar
Dolphin Tour at Kizimkazi & Leisure Afternoon
After breakfast, depart for Kizimkazi Village on Zanzibar's southwestern tip — a stretch of coast well known for its resident dolphin population. Board a traditional wooden dhow and head out onto the warm Indian Ocean in search of both bottlenose and humpback dolphins, regularly spotted here in sizeable pods. Optional snorkelling is available at an additional cost for those who want to get in the water. Return for lunch and then a fully free afternoon — the beach, the pool, or simply a long walk along the shore. An optional sunset cruise is available in the evening for those who'd like to end the day on the water.
