Day 1
📍 Dar es Salaam → Mikumi
Arrival in Dar es Salaam — Transfer to Mikumi & Afternoon Game Drive
Your adventure begins early. Our driver picks you up from your hotel or Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam at 6:00 AM for a scenic road transfer to Mikumi National Park — Tanzania's fourth-largest national park, set at the foot of the Uluguru Mountains. As you arrive in the park, the landscape opens up into sweeping open woodland and floodplains teeming with wildlife.

Day 2

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi — Flight to Zanzibar
Rise early to make the most of the golden morning light — the best time to spot predators on the move. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through the park's varied ecosystems, including the Mkata River floodplain where large herds gather during the dry season. A packed lunch is served in the bush. In the late afternoon, transfer to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Zanzibar Island.

Day 3
📍 Zanzibar — Stone Town
Stone Town & Spice Tour — Zanzibar
Spend the morning exploring Stone Town, Zanzibar's ancient heart and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through a labyrinth of narrow streets lined with ornately carved wooden doors, visit the Arab Fort, the House of Wonders and the historic slave market, and soak up the atmosphere of vibrant local markets. In the afternoon, travel inland to Zanzibar's famous spice plantations for a guided tour — your senses will come alive with the scent of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric and vanilla growing in their natural environment.

Day 4

Dolphin Excursion & Leisure Beach Day — Zanzibar
Head out early by boat for a morning dolphin excursion along Zanzibar's southwestern coastline. The warm, shallow waters off Kizimkazi are home to both bottlenose and humpback dolphins, often spotted in large pods swimming alongside the boat. Optional snorkelling among coral reefs is available for an additional cost. Return for a relaxed afternoon — the beach, the pool, a spa treatment, or simply a hammock and a good book.

Day 5

Departure Day — Farewell to Zanzibar
